Bacon Cobb Salad with Ranch

  • bunch of lettuce (however much you’d like)
  • 3 campari tomatoes
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 3 strips center cut bacon
  • 1 egg
  • garlic salt
  • ground black pepper
  • ranch


  1. fill saucepan up with water and put egg in over high heat for 8-10 minutes
  2. cook bacon separately in frying pan
  3. while egg is hard-boiling and bacon is frying, chop up lettuce, cut tomatoes into quarters, cube avocado
  4. layer lettuce into bottom of serving bowl and form a row from one end of the bowl to the other with the chopped tomatoes and a separate row next to the tomatoes of the cubed avocado
  5. sprinkle with garlic salt and ground black pepper
  6. crumble bacon in another row next to the avocado
  7. once 8-10 minutes has passed with the egg hard-boiling, dump the hot water out but keep the egg in and gently toss egg into sauce pan, cracking the shell
  8. pour cold water into the pan with the egg in it (the cold water will make it easier to peel the shell pieces off)
  9. peel off shell and cut up the hard-boiled egg, laying in another row next to the bacon
  10. top with ranch and enjoy!
